Konzo's not so delightful Wii adventures PART III

...but I could not find any way to transfer the memory from the old one!

Is there not a memory card in here?
No?
Is this it?
This is the Game Cube memory card?
Are you sure?
Where is the slot?
There is none?

I stared at my two systems in horror.
What should I do? Oh my
oh no
oh my
I started using failed grammar even
oh my

In the midst of my dramatic breakdown, my father used fatherly powers and brought our good friend Google into this.

Through yet again extensive research, we came across the information that there is in fact no memory card, and the memory is stored inside the Wii itself! Oh dear!

We would need what is called an SD card to properly transfer all of the memory between the consoles. So we once again drove-dashed over to Game Stop.
Oh look, it was the same gentleman from last evening!
With his help again, we purchased a nice 2 Gigabyte SD Card for Wii. 2 Gigabytes is 2000 Megabytes, which is a lot of bytes. We would be just dandy.

Back at my house, I had to re-set up my old Wii and put the card into the slot. I carefully selected the memory I wanted to transfer, and then went to set up the new one again.

I stuck the card into that one then, and crossed my fingers...
Oh look! There were the memory blocks from the old Wii! Delightful!

But it was time for the moment of truth.
I placed the Harvest Moon Animal Parade into the slot, and waited once more.

THERE WAS MY SAVE FILE!
"KONZO"
RIGHT THERE!
I WAS ELATED ONCE MORE.

I am now able to get back to fictional game men and farm animals (not at the same time!)
and saving the Harvest Goddess and the Island of musical instruments.

I was very pleased.
The End.

Thank you, children, for listening to my story of the not so delightful Wii adventures.
