Homestuck Soundtrack Vol. 9!!

I know it came out a couple of days ago, but it's still really exciting!
I sat there and listened to all 49 tracks because I had to.
Anyway, after listening to all of them a couple of times, I decided to list a few of my favorite tracks.

First, "Pumpkin Party in Sea Hitler's Water Apocalypse" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgG8lAVh-EA&feature=relmfu  before I decided to listen to all of them one at a time, this was the first one I listened to, and needles to say it is just fantastic (well all Homestuck songs are).

"A Taste for Adventure" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4kIfIUSV6o  I can honestly say this song leaves me speechless. It sounds like something straight out of the finale of a famous adventure saga; while instead it's a soundtrack for an online comic. I don't know how many people besides me are really into full instrumental (which most of the songs are), but it's just so super cool I can't put it into words.

"Hate You" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gU_54ibyKM&feature=relmfu This one's shorter than the other two so far. I think it does a really good job of being the counterpart to "Love You" - a song on volume 8. There isn't much action to this song, but I still love to listen to it a lot.

"Moonsetter" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75kJb_aAvKY&feature=relmfu Rather short but beautiful nonetheless. When I first heard this I knew it was one that I would remember to listen to again later. There really isn't much else to say, other than once you listen to it you'll know what I mean.

"Minihoof's Adventure" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMyh7F9cyrE&feature=relmfu
shhhh just listen.

"Trepidation" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxLtO42_AJQ  not only is the cover art this guy's work, but the song is a cool switch to electric style music, and it's worth a listen.

"Crystalmethequins" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8rWfPPrKJ0    Just awesome. It's an alternate/remix version of a song on an earlier volume. All of the songs and remixes of it are worth checking out though because they each have something different.

Now of course, there are a lot of other cool songs (I personally recommend listening to "GameGrl"), but these are the ones I tend to listen to again and again the most.

Annnd now of course, some more artwork by yours truly:

  2. Summer's been going well, though I haven't been doing much. I've gotten only to like page 40 on my second summer reading book even though it feels like I've been reading it forever 8(
